It was a night to put on your best attire and enjoy good friends and food while recognizing the best that the contractors of Associated Builders and Contractors of Southeastern Michigan (ABC SEMI) had to offer.
“We have been looking forward to hosting the Excellence in Construction awards for some time,” ABC SEMI President and CEO Keith Ledbetter said. “We have some of the most innovative and exceptional contractors in the world working right here in southeast Michigan and it was high time we recognized their incredible work.”

Scott McInerney – Certified Risk Architect and Commercial Insurance and Employee Benefits Producer at Sterling Insurance Group – was onsite to present the award.

• Site Preparation/Excavating 2 Category < $1,000,000 -Winner: DiPonio Contracting for their City of Southfield Storm Sewer/Watermain project (road replacement)
• Sub-Contractor Category – Winner: Molnar Roofing Inc. for their Sheridan at Birmingham Senior Living Project (total roof replacement)
• General Contractor Category – Winner: The Summit Company for the Ward Church Open Doors Project (multi-faceted renovation of the church and facility).
