Walking for the cure
On Sunday, September 22nd, 2019, Sterling Insurance Group employees and friends joined forces in Detroit for the JDRF T1D One Walk. The team made the decision to walk for 8 year old David, the grandson of a Sterling team member who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes as a young child.
In addition to the One Walk, Sterling team members hosted companywide Change Wars, Garage Sales, raffles and more to raise money for a cause so close to our hearts; Type 1 Diabetes research. Overall, the Sterling team and some generous donors were able to raise more than $3,200 for Type 1 Diabetes research!
