Thank you for having us, Vets Returning Home!

On Saturday, May 18th, 2019, Sterling Insurance Group employees gathered at Vets Returning Home in Roseville, Michigan to shop, prepare and serve a delicious breakfast spread to veterans. The goal of Vets Returning Home is simple: to end chronic homelessness among veterans in our communities. Their mission is complex, requiring more than putting a roof over the veterans’ heads. It requires an approach that address the “total veteran” and his needs. Vets Returning Home comes with a full range of support services including meals, job training, substance abuse and other changes faced by veterans. They help veterans re-gain control of their lives.

This is the second time team members have volunteered at VRH, thanks to the internal philanthropy group at the agency: Sterling Cares Committee. This time, the group was able to serve about 25 veterans breakfast, which included eggs, sausage and pancakes as well as coffee and fresh orange juice.

Enjoy these photos from the wonderful outing!
