On Sunday, September 22nd, Sterling team members and friends joined to take-part in the annual Metro Detroit Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) One Walk!
JDRF is leading the fight against type 1 diabetes (T1D) by funding research, advocating for policies that accelerate access to new therapies, and providing a support network for millions of people around the world impacted by T1D.
Great fun was had by all at the One Walk. This year, the team walked for David, the grandson of a Sterling employee who is living with T1D.
Overall, Sterling Insurance Group and generous donors were able to raise more than $3,200 for JDRF! Thanks to everyone who joined us in this important effort!
